Have you received a prescription for a medical device from your doctor? Simply send us the prescription using the gesund.de app!
- Download the app for free
- Open the app and select the ‘Submit prescription’ function
- Take a photo of your paper prescription (Form 16, informal private prescription) and upload it
- Enter your contact details and, if applicable, information about your health insurance card
- Bring the original paper prescription with you when you visit the medical supply store, as this is required for billing purposes
You will be notified via the app as soon as everything is ready for you. This saves you time and unnecessary trips. The service is free of charge, of course!

All you need is a smartphone with the gesund.de app and your camera function. With the gesund.de app, you can redeem online prescriptions directly and completely digitally at your medical supply store.
Can medical supply stores already accept e-prescriptions?
This is not yet possible. However, you can take a photo of your prescription using the Gesund.de app and send it to us.
